Shubham Maheshwari founded Being Chef 10 years ago and has since led the growth of the company. He, through Being Chef, strives to make people healthy through their daily food intake. Previously, he worked with a US-based consulting firm, helping established companies with their sales and marketing strategies.
Shubham did his mechanical engineering at NIT Jaipur. He was the “VICE PRESIDENT” of his college and was also awarded as the “BEST ALL-ROUNDER” of his batch. He is socially very active and has led the “INDIA AGAINST CORRUPTION” movement in Rajasthan when he was in college. He also led a group named People For People, in which his team was bridging the gap between societal problems & their solutions. For his social contributions, he was awarded the “YOUTH CHANGE MAKER AWARD” in 2010 at the age of 19.
Shubham was selected in “FORBES 30 UNDER 30 for ASIA” in 2021 and was the only one from the fresh food industry to make it on the list. For his achievements, Shubham was also awarded the “YOUNG ACHIEVER AWARD” by his college, NIT Jaipur, in 2021, and was the youngest alumnus to receive this award. Shubham was part of the “PATRIKA 40 UNDER 40 POWER LIST” in 2022. He was also part of the “BUSINESS WORLD WELLBEING 40 UNDER 40” list in 2024. Shubham has been selected as “MENTOR OF CHANGE” by NITI Aayog, Govt. of India under the Atal Innovation Mission. Shubham was awarded the “PROMISING INDIAN AWARD” in 2023 in the Entrepreneurship category. He was also awarded the “INNOVATIVE LEADER OF THE YEAR AWARD” in 2024 at the Global Influencers & Leadership Award Summit. Shubham was awarded the “NEWGEN ICON AWARD” in 2024 on International MSME Day. He also has more than 5,00,000 followers on Social Media. He is also a motivational speaker and has spoken at 100+ events, platforms, podcasts, schools, and colleges like TEDx, Josh Talks, FMS, MDI, IMI, IIT, NIT, DU, Scindia School, etc.
