The round was led by Semantic.vc with participation from Crane Earth, Actyus and business angels.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.
Led by Juan Montero, CEO, Ignacio Rosario, COO, and Gonzalo Bandeira, CTO, Fence is building the infrastructure to monitor and automate debt operations, from origination and issuance to the day-to-day reporting and payments. The SaaS platform helps capital providers and asset originators to focus on high value tasks like underwriting and portfolio servicing, scaling their back-office operations.
The platform, built on blockchain technology, offers a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution that simplifies and automate debt facility operations. For capital providers, the platform enables internet-native debt solutions and real-time portfolio insights, enhancing credit investment monitoring. Asset originators benefit from enhanced capital efficiency and reduced operational costs, thanks to Fence’s automation. It integrates debt facilities into an existing tech stack and provides on-demand programmable debt, giving users control over the capital they borrow.
